Pero si miramos en retrospectiva, introducir movilidad tecnol\u00f3gica a esta ecuaci\u00f3n aportar\u00eda beneficios para el servicio prestado a los clientes. De la misma forma, tambi\u00e9n se traducir\u00eda en herramientas para optimizar las funciones y desenvolvimiento de los trabajadores. \u00bfCu\u00e1les son las posibles mejoras en el sector hotelero cuando se trata de tecnolog\u00eda?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La conectividad.<\/strong> Aunque parezca algo tan com\u00fan y dado por hecho, las conexiones inal\u00e1mbricas no siempre est\u00e1n entre los servicios que presta un hotel. En otras ocasiones el servicio est\u00e1 disponible pero no con la calidad esperada. Por ello, debemos hacer un recordatorio que las conexiones inal\u00e1mbricas, el internet, es la llave que va a abrir pr\u00e1cticamente todas las puertas de buenos servicios innovadores que quieran prestarse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De hecho, seg\u00fan un estudio de Forrester y Motorola, el 90% de los clientes desear\u00eda que haya wifi gratuito en todos los hoteles. Adem\u00e1s, otro dato interesante es que el 34% de los usuarios no reservar\u00eda si el hotel no tiene wifi. Entonces vemos c\u00f3mo este aspecto de la tecnolog\u00eda nos presenta una oportunidad de mejora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Big data.<\/b> Uno de los beneficios de usar la tecnolog\u00eda del big data es que podemos generar patrones de comportamiento. Por lo que analizando la informaci\u00f3n que tengamos de los hu\u00e9spedes, podemos conocer sus gustos a profundidad y brindarles experiencias m\u00e1s personalizadas, lo cual es primordial cuando hablamos de servicios. M\u00e1s todav\u00eda en este momento en el que las experiencias son sumamente importantes para generar engagement, posicionamiento y fidelidad de marca. Con el big data tambi\u00e9n existe la posibilidad de adelantarse a situaciones y manejar distintos escenarios de forma proactiva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Intranet.<\/b> Imaginemos que cada hotel tuviera una intranet mediante la cual los hu\u00e9spedes tuvieran la oportunidad de comunicarse con el personal del hotel, hacer pedidos por s\u00ed mismos, chequear en tiempo real disponibilidad de alimentos, planear actividades en tiempo real, entre otros de este tipo. Tambi\u00e9n es beneficioso desde el punto de vista de los empleados, ya que pueden recibir efectiva y r\u00e1pidamente solicitudes de servicio a la habitaci\u00f3n, por ejemplo, y desempe\u00f1arse positivamente en sus funciones.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Realidad aumentada.<\/b> Esta puede ser una oportunidad de la tecnolog\u00eda para brindarle a los usuarios un paseo virtual por sus instalaciones antes de reservar. Tambi\u00e9n puede ser efectivo para mostrar actividades y \u00e1reas externas de disfrute, de manera que pueda usarse para captar a atenci\u00f3n de posibles clientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Inteligencia artificial.<\/b> Puede que con un poco m\u00e1s de avances tecnol\u00f3gicos, exista pronto la modalidad de tener m\u00e1quinas o programas de voz atendiendo a los usuarios en sus habitaciones.
